Ianto was leaning against the wall at one end of the tavern, nursing a lager and watching Jack have an animated discussion with the manager at the other end. Theoretically, he shouldn't have to keep Jack within his direct line of sight, not with this many people in the room. He'd always be looking at someone who would be looking at someone who would be looking at Jack, and time couldn't shift only part of the people in that chain. But that was theory. Reality was that Jack hadn't even been back a week, and even though his constant presence was already grating on Ianto's nerves, Ianto still wasn't prepared to risk losing him again.
