I have been trying to go see LoR for what feels like an eternity now- couldn't go on wednesday, since we had a game and there were no late showings. Was going to go last night with Ed but he went to get the tickets and they were sold out. (the bastards) so Ed and I took a raincheck and were going to go today, and Ed was going to get us tickets- BUT he called me at work and a bunch of stuff had come up so he couldn't go. So we're going tomorrow after I get off work. errrg. I swear the movie industry knows how much I want to see this movie, and is deliberatly making it so that I can't go. Rawrrrrr. On the good side, work went really fast today- it was busy, and it's only going to get worse untill the DAY arrives. Then it will slowly taper off untill the beginning of January, and there will be noone in the store period. And we get to do INVENTORY!!!! I am soooo excited! (sarcasm intended) Although I think shoppers move in packs- it's never steady- it's either thirty zillion people all screaming for me and none of them know the meaning of "patience" or "shut up and wait your damn turn." There was one guy who wanted a handwritten reciept- I guess the register just isn't good enough for him. Naturally, he bought over ten books (which is good for the store) and there were about three or four people in line and nobody to help me- but everyone was actually understanding for once- or at least, no one bitched at me about it. Which I will settle for. *sigh* I need a day off- too much smiling and being polite. my face hurts.
BTW, I am officially having a party Sunday pm (Dec 22) and y'all are invited- of course- if you would like to come. If you do want to and can come, let me know if you need directions. I'll even clean my house! ;-)
I'm off- to clean- and maybe eat dinner- who knows?
Guess what! I finally managed to pass ear training! (some of you know how much I suck in that class and how many times I've taken it) Go me! (Although I personally think it had less to do with me getting better and more to do with how a certain clarinet/ear training teacher felt sorry for me)
This entry had nothing to do with draedels or anything related. Just thought you might want to know.
