So the trip this weekend was incredable- driving the van was like way fun- I'm glad I did. I was kinda worried that it would suck, but there were awesome. lovely people whom I love very much in the van, so it was really fun. Gratutious nudity, excessive alcohol consumption and the whole nine yards. I did not drink, since I was one of the drivers, (and that would be the pennicle of stupidity) but I did play Truth or Dare, since Ty was driving. It was fun. I was drop dead exhausted when we got there, but it was ok. We (in the van) got everywhere before the busses, so we got our rooms first, our food first, etc..... It was great not having any chaperones.
The symphony was absolutly incredable- the featured soloist was a 15 year old girl who played Paginini- wow. I seriously questioned my worth as a musician when I heard her play. She was incredable. The rest of the concert was really good too- they played Mendellsson, whom I love- his Scottish Symphony, which is one of my favorites. A big group of us ate at the Spaghetti Warehouse, and Ty, Eric, Byron and I split a huge bottle of wine, and we were all so tierd that we were majorly buzzing. Good thing we were on the busses for that-
We lost the game- damn interseptions and bad calls- Goodbye New Orleans-
Midevel times was incredable- no matter how many times I see that show, I love it..... (our knight lost- :-(
The hotel was great- it had a very warm swimming pool, which was really nice and I swam for hours. Way fun.
The drive back was not nearly as fun as the drive down- everybody slept for the first half and we had Mr. Denise for the second half, so there was nothing interesting happening- which sucked.
My last lesson with Lisa Van was today- I got an A on my final for her- horray! Now if only Juries will go as well-
got some really awesome CD's at the Virgin megastore- all calssical- 4 cd's for less than 12$ Go me!
I should go practice- laters
