(no subject)
I do apologize for not being around llately. Just after the Solstice, our hub died, and we had to wait for it to be replaced over the holiday. Then we were away, and then a family crisis struck.
I managed to get into facebook quite a few times, but if you know me there, you'll know that this is where I feel most relaxed, and where I keep my journal (of sorts).
So it's hard to know what to write today.
Yuletide was more than good, wonderful family affair. We included some family time in Europe, and I had good news from my newest publisher. So far, so good. Move from this straight to sitting at the hospital bedside of someone I love, and who nearly didn't make it. Thankfully, - a good outcome, and a very strange Burn's Night!.
Driving back to the south from Scotland today, I tried to take note of the things that have changed for me, as a result. They're too many to list. Only one thing is certain today; we are all totally exhausted. But life goes forward, and we will make the necessary changes. And get on with it.
The last year has been particularly educational.
We have learnt so much.
