Young Veins and Panic!
So who heard the new songs?
Panic! At the Disco (! firmly in place) put out thier new single "New Perspective last night. I think it sounds like the perfect mix of both of their albums. It kind of sounds like "That Green Gentleman" if I'm going to be honest with myself. I instantly fell in love.
"Change" by Ryan and Jon's new project The Young Veins (awesome band name BTW) didn't hit me as a song that I would fall in love with instantly. It's very good, don't get me wrong, but it's not really my style. I'm not gonna rule TYV as a band I won't listen to just yet. I'll wait until I hear a few more songs before I really judge.
SO yes, for now NP>Change, but that does NOT mean I am on anyone's "side". I am still a fan of Ryan and Jon, and still respect them as musicians. I won't bash them or say they're stupid. And frankly, neither should anyone else. It's retarded. Just enjoy the music, guys, and stop with the hate.
So that's my review of the new songs. Tell me what you guys think, what song you like better, and what you think of all the "Team Bren/Spen" and "Team Ry/Jon"business.
