Le Weekend...

Oct 29, 2007 00:49

It really does go by way too fast... however, it is so nice to finally have weekends off with Sean... We don't see much of each other during the week, so trying to figure out how to spend these two days can seem a little overwhelming at times.

Sean met me after work Friday night and we went out only to get in at about 3 am... my mom rang us at 9:30am to let us know she was on her way into town to visit. She came in to help me fill out my wls consultation papers to send back to the weight clinic in Toronto... receiving the forms took 2 months so I'm sending them back by registered mail and then I have to wait to find out when and what the next steps will be in this journey that both fills me with hope and anxiety at the same time...  She took my sister and the lil ones out to find a hallowe'en costume for Kay, so Sean and I went back to bed for a lil bit in the very very quiet house... eventually we got up and spent the day lazying around. I did some scrapbooking - worked on mr. Z's baby book and reorganized my stickers a bit at my desk... And later in the evening, we were on babysitting duty for the sleeping children so my sister and her boyfriend were able to go out to see a friend of my sister's spin.

We left the house pretty early today to go to aquafit, the class was really good and I really like how clean the Plant Rec Centre is, however today the changing rooms were freezing!!! I left the house without a jacket (silly move on my part) and thought I was going to freeze to death between the door to the rec centre and the car...

We stopped in to do some shopping and then relaxed to watch football and play some online poker after getting home from our aquafit workout. I love that Sean and I are doing this together. He really doesn't like the thought of getting up early on a Sunday morning, but he knew how much I wanted him to take a class with me, so I'm so happy we're doing this together. I was less sore this week afterwards than I was after last week's class - I think that's a good sign.

After watching some of the New England Patriots game, (they were kicking butt at 38-0), I went downstairs to check out my  niece, Ms. K in her hallowe'en Elina barbie fairy costume. She was sooo very cute that I couldn't help but take some photos. And then she asked us to put on some dancing music and I took a few two minute movies of her doing ballet type movements to my instrumental piano cd as she did not think Sarah Mclachlan was good dancing music for fairies... It was so special... And since I am working evenings, I won't get a chance to go trick or treating with her this year so she trick or treated at my bedroom door so I wouldn't miss being there so much on Hallowe'en night... what a thoughtful lil girl.

Today seemed to go on and on, as we also got some cuddling time in with both Z & K in the bed while we were watching the football game.... Zack is such a happy baby, he was content to play along while we were singing karoke style to some old Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston songs. After mr. Z went down for his nap, K was playing; I fell asleep for almost two hours so now I'm wide awake...

Hopefully I'll get to bed soon as the work week will begin again shortly tomorrow afternoon!
