(no subject)
Today is going very well. I like the flow of the job, I'm picking things up quickly. Tuesdays seem to be the toughest days, and everything is pretty downhill from there. I am quite happy.
I have also secured a place to move in this Saturday. YAY! I'm going to move in for a little bit with A.B., the photog for Will Clark's parties. He needs help with his rent, and serious cleaning of his place, and I need help with a place to be for a little while. So I will be up with him in his studio in Spanish Harlem as of Saturday. We have agreed that I can stay with him until October 1st, at which point I will definitely have more than enough money to officially move somewhere else. Phew!
It's weird to recognize that I am not going to be seeing Richard every day starting 3 days from now... We'll still be somewhat in touch, and I am sure I will see him around, out and about.... But, as far as I can tell, this is really the end... Maybe, maybe, with time and space things can come to a reconciliation, but I doubt it. That's just being real.
I'm disappointed, but not devastated anymore. Doing my own thing for a while sounds appealing, and will probably be the best thing for me. I know things will move on, and I'll eventually find something just as special as what I have known with Richard. I am really going to miss him though.
