1. LOVE. Almost all of it. SO much.
2. Sort of except parts of the most recent Christmas special, mostly just due to good bits, moments, and ideas, being presented in a very poor overall structure. Will miss David Tennant, still miss Christopher Eccelston, am excited to see what Matt Smith will bring to the party. And, I have
a theory: My pet unlikely but maybe not theory is that Donna's grandfather is actually the Doctor's father. Why? Well. You only ever see the woman of the pair who voted against the quorum, and I think it can be implied that the pair are either the Doctor's TimeDad and TimeMom or TimeWife and TimeKid. I'm leaning towards dad and mom. You don't see the dad, but the mom/lady is the one who contacts her granddad, calling him "old soldier" and so forth. Also, they made that deal out of "I would have been proud to have you as my dad" and "I'm older than you" and "I heart you!!" and so forth. I think he regenerated and did the becoming-human thing, had kid and grandkid, but that would also explain why Donna was the person "fated' to help the doctor and so forth. There was absolutely no sexual energy, and he kept making a deal out of her being special and the whole emphasis on Donna and time-wonkiness, and she's totally his mostly-human neice!
Seiously, it's not THAT farfetched. I'll actually be kinda sad if that's not what ends up happening.
Moreover, Donna is hands-down my favorite companion (followed by the Cat Burglar Lady, who doesn't count if I'm only counting permanent companions, Rose, and WAY in the past, Martha, who sucks)
