I have been sick since Sunday. It suxx0rs. Guy in the MA community is from my old neck of the woods and reminds me a lot of myself. So I think I will see about training him some when I go to visit Papa. That may be around Christmas. Then again it all depends on when I can go.
I like this new schedule but I just wished I could find the dicipline to get up Tues and Thurs for MCMAP training starting at 0530. I want my Black Belt but unless I miraculously get Corporal I can only ever get Grey.
MCMAP Structure
Tan (Minimium for Marines since 2000)
Grey
Green* (min of CPL or a waiver to earn Green and beyond)
Brown*
Black* (to various degrees)
*Starting at Green you have regular qualified belt wearers and Instructor-Trainer Belt wearers designated by a red stripe on the belt.
Too bad I'm ronin and never stuck to a Dojo/School or i could submit paperwork for meritorious belt. Black belts from civilian diciplines I believe take a test and are ranked according to their skill... Right now though I only want the skill to kick this cold out of my arse. *sniff*
