Yes I made it to Balboa. I had a guy from AVI be my A (assistant) Driver. So basically he got the day off work and a free trip to San Diego. While there we stopped by MCRD San Diego and he saw one of his old Drill Instructors. He was freaked out that the DI was nice. LOL. The recruits were fun/nostolgic to watch and today was Family Day/Visitor's Thursday so all the new Marines graduating tomorrow were there in their Chucks (ever find out what those were Jenn? LOL) OH! It is fun being called "Gentlemen" by all the soon-to-be Privates and PFCs... Oorah

I have an appointment today in San Diego at 1300. The shuttle leaves Yuma at 0500. So of course I woke up at 0455. >< Not cool...
