You Know You're a Bride-To-Be When ...

~You walk into your room and notice half-finished invitations scattered all over your floor.

~ All of your belongings seem to be in a sad state of disarray due to sore neglect.

~ There are two or three bridal magazines in your way when you go to sit down at your computer.

~ A handy-dandy wedding planner is sitting open on your computer keyboard, with a pen resting on it ready to use ... unlike your keyboard.

~ Your computer is on and a browser is open on your work-in-progress Bridal registry to Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

~ You look over at your desk and see that it's coated in random clutters of hand-outs and paraphernalia from the bridal show you went to last weekend (everything from caterers and limousine services you definitely won't be needing and should probably discard - if you could only find the time! - to tux and decoration rentals that you need to call and set up appointments with ... if you could only find the time ...)

~ The calendar on your wall is riddled with things you need to get done (Oh, look, there's another bridal show you're going to next weekend ...)

~ All you'd really love to do is spend time with your fiancé, but there's just so much going on, and for some reason it seems like a lot of it is stuff you can't do together, like shop for wedding gowns (what is this wedding for anyway?)

~ You have to balance your checkbook every single day because your bank account is fluctuating like a bucking bronco as you work and spend and work and spend.

~ Then finally you get to lay down in your bed at night, feeling exhausted, only to find that when you close your eyes all you can see are the parading pictures of whatever wedding product you were shopping for that day (last night for me it was unity candles!).

And yet, you just feel so excited.
