Yes ... I am an aunt.
Seth and Becca are now the proud new parents of a little girl, Arwen Elysabeth Mallay. She was born 7:06 AM on August 1st (yesterday), weighing 8.2 lbs and measuring 21 inches in length. I was there for the entire birth, and even got to help the midwives some (Seth and Becca had decided on a home birth, even though it was their first child).
For a newborn, I have to admit, my niece is pretty cute, and I'm not being prejudice or anything. She is slightly cuter than all the other newborn babies I've seen. I was going to post pictures, but livejournal is being difficult and doesn't seem to want to let me, so you can see them straight at my photobucket, here.
There will be more pictures soon - these are just some of the ones my dad got (yea, that's why they're not very good quality). Sheena, who is an aspiring photographer, got tons and tons more, so I'll get copies of those and share them with you ... hopefully soon. Some of them Seth has already uploaded on his facebook, so you can see them here.
