RANDOM DAY

Rowan was napping on the couch in the Slytherin common room. She didn't normally nap in the common room because you never knew when Lucas and Tobias would come in and probably do something to her face. Like DRAW ON IT. And that wasn't cool in Rowan's book.

So there she was sleeping on the couch. Minding her own business in DREAM LAND.

Jesus descended down from the heavens, floating on a cloud until it was no longer practical. After all, clouds turned into water when they reached the right point in the atmosphere, and he didn't really want to rain on Rowan's parade at the moment.

"Rowan Foxkith." He said quietly as he reached the floor. "Wake up."

Now to say that Rowan was expecting a visit by Jesus would just be ridiculous. So let's just say that she WASN'T EXPECTING JESUS TO descend from the heavens!

When the big man commands you to wake up. You WAKE UP. Rowan's eyes snapped open. "Jesus? Whatever is a man like you doing in a place like this?"

Good, she awoke. And without actually freaking out or anything, which was excellent. Jesus kind of had that effect on people. They were just so excited that they had to scream or faint or do something of the like. "I have an important message for you." He said seriously, then paused.

"But I forget it." He said suddenly, sitting down on a nearby chair. "So how are you?"

Rowan looked at Jesus like he was a new person? A new person that had information that she wanted. She would get it out of him. Even if it came down to... things...

"I'm... I'm feeling sad! Because people know about Gabe!" she held a hand dramatically to her temple. "They just can't! It's supposed to be a clandestine affair!"

Aislin randomly appeared in a poof of pink and silver sparkles. She had been watching in her crystal ball, and felt the need to voice her agreement. "The only acceptable affairs are clandestine affairs," she stated knowledgeably.

Gabriel appeared beside Aislin. He had a green aura surrounding him. "Listen to Aislin, she knows all about clandestine affairs. You should learn from her." He then dissolved into smoke and started flying around.

Aislin tried to hide her blush behind her hand, but there was no graceful way to do it. Sudden simultaneous resignation of the Astronomy professor and withdrawal of one of the most committed students in the school, what? "Yes," Aislin added, "you could learn from me, but only if you wanted to, I suppose." The tone of Aislin's voice was such that she hoped it would compel Rowan to agree with Aislin's expectations. Too bad, right?

Gabe continued to fly around the room in a puff of green smoke. It was really very pretty. Then he materialized beside Jesus for a moment and smiled at her. "Purebloods have certain expectations. Everything goes on behind closed doors. Halfbloods are just there for show. And I don't know who this guys is, but I feel as though he might be a mudblood..." He then disappeared into smoke again and started flying around.

Aislin was very tempted to dematerialise into a puff of red smoke, so as to pose a nice juxtaposition with Gabe's green smoke. "You think so? He has the look of a Squib to me," the lovely wafty floatiness of the puff of smoke finally got to Aislin and she finally gave in. Just for the purely aesthetic value she swirled after Gabe.

She could have spent a whole thirty minutes doing just that. She had a feeling it was very hypnotising, and it would come in handy if there were lots of beams of lights, too.

Gabriel rematerialised next to Rowan and moved his hand to her hair. "We must stay clandestine. You should never talk about us to anyone. Not even in an owl to Aislin." He turned and nodded at the red smoke, which was very pretty.

"Why did you pick red?"

Lorelai came into the common room for no reason. She just kinda walked in and what luck, people were there! People who were kinda good to associate (actually, the best but she didn't really like anyone so the best rating they could get was kinda good). "Oh hello."

"That's right. Owls can get intercepted. If you're do want t"I thought it was kind of Christmasy. I feel very festive, even though it's still November," Aislin looked PIERCINGLY at Jesus, "that's probably your influence, right? Being your birthday and all." That's right, when all else fails, blame Jesus.

Aislin nodded at Lorelei in greeting, "Hello Lorelei," it was nice to be in a position to associate with only respectable people. Of course, the presence of Jesus was still questionable.

Gabriel thought about why Jesus was even there. He must represent the horribleness that was associating with anyone who wasn't worth Rowan's time. Wow, he hoped that Rowan wasn't doing that! GET OUT JESUS! GET OUT NOW!

In fact, he burst into smoke and started circling around Jesus for fun.
