Christmas Wishlist Time!
Yep, it's already that time of year again. How did this happen???
If you have posted a wishlist of your own, please link me to it here! I so love this tradition, I've seen so much joy spread around over these past few years. It's just lovely.
So, in the spirit of the pursuit, I offer my wishlist this year.:)
Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Xena/Ares icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
1. Xena angst fic. Really. This is number one. Hurt/comfort is best. But basically, just torture my girl emotionally (or physically could work, too) and give me the after comfort, from Gabrielle, Ares, Borias, even Joxer. You'll make my season.:)
2. Xena wallpaper, especially dark or devestated Xena or something really pretty from the India arc. But anything Xena-centric that your muse desires.
3. Rosetta Stone Spanish (yeah, just wishful thinking, but the kid and I need it and I only have French)
4. Notebooks and pens
5. Donations to The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. This is probably both the charity and the cause I'm most passionate about in life. Every cent helps these beautiful, intelligent, and cultured creatures survive on this earth, a planet to which they have equal right as we.
6. An actual book copy of Melissa Good's Tropical Storm (or any of the other Dar/Kerry novels) and/or an actual book copy of LJ Maas's Journey's End (because it's out of print and OMG expensive!!)
7. Something that shows me how or why (or if!) you value our friendship. It can be anything you want...a story, a poem, artwork, a memory. A card, a text, a flower on my profile page, music that reminds you of me. Making Xena icons even though you hate the show.;) Just something that you want to offer that's somehow about us, or how you feel about me or our friendship.
8. Navel jewelry. All mine is falling apart, atm.
9. A copy of Locusts.
10. Copies of the Lucy and Renee Coffee Talks. I've got NOTHING. I want EVERYTHING. Any little bit you can scrape up for me, I'll kiss you for.:)
