Okay...about a 100 years ago, I posted the time stamp meme. I'm still working on actually replying with fic. (And about 200 years ago, I posted an icon meme fic I'm only halfway through writing fic for...I'll get there...)
So,
majorsamfan asked for fic based on
Flicker and Spark - five minutes after they return to the SGC, before they meet Hammond. Here

Yeah, that's much of the appeal of OT3, isn't it...having Jack and Daniel putting themselves between you and the world...*g*
this line cracked me up:He wants to bury his tongue in her mouth and he knows she could snap his neck. so true. lovely ficlet. :)
Hee! Glad you liked that. Sadly, I have the distinct feeling I said something similar in a past fic somewhere, but I couldn't remember where, so I went with it, anyway. Not like I'm stealing from someone else.:D
Thanks for the feed.:)

This is exactly why I love fanfic. The first one is a no-holds-barred smut piece, and the tag? Brings it straight back to reality. Something the actual show does not get to do. Mostly.
I love the little descriptions of them changing, and the lace, and then Jack being so...Jack.

Oh, thank you. Glad it worked for you. Trying to follow that particular fic was a bit unnerving.:D

Now that makes me happy, because he was so vividly Jack in that moment in my head, but your comments make me think that made it to the page, too. So, thank you.:)

It's a wickedly seductive genre. I've always been Sam/Jack to the end in canon, and when I first heard the idea of Sam/Daniel I thought it was ridiculous. Then I read a couple. First couple I thought "Menh...cute, not my thing." And then I hit on a couple of others, and before I knew it, this whole other world had exploded in my brain. And suddenly there was this whole gorgeous other reality in fic for me that was Sam/Daniel... and it didn't really work against my devotion to Sam/Jack, but... It's an addiction.:)
And thanks.:)

I can see already that Sam/Daniel is a slippery slope. And one day, undoubtedly sooner rather than later, I'll be a little bored and feeling schmoopy about the team and I'll decide to read a Sam/Daniel fic. It will be gorgeous and full of tenderness and love and the way that on some levels Daniel just gets Sam in a way that no one else does or probably ever will and I'll think but... no...and then I'll think but yeah and before I know it I will have lost an entire weekend and will be dreaming Sam/Daniel fic.
At least I've heard it could happen that way. ;)

Not in the same way, exactly. Maybe 'cause they weren't there side by side so much? Don't know.:D

Indulge me a brief moment of self-promotion in the interest of furthering the cause:
Slipping
I wrote this as pure friendship, but I've been told insisently that it is S/D UST. Who knew? Anyhow, might be an easy way to start the slide...;)
(And for the OMG this is believably screwed up view, try Small Graces)

Good!! A nice fic to start a day!!
Yay.:) Glad you liked it.
The thing about Sam's vulnerability is that she is fragile and strong thus me loving this:
He wants to bury his tongue in her mouth and he knows she could snap his neck.
Yeah, that's so much of her appeal, that delicate balance between this sort of force of nature and vulnerable little girl.
Thanks for the lovely words!
