This was made in Adobe Photoshop CS3 - it includes selective color and color layers.

Step #1 - Prepare your base.
I duplicated mine and set it to screen twice. Of course it's different for every picture.
Step #2 - Make a new fill layer, fill it with #f6ba8e. Set at 80% on Multiply.
Step #3 - Make a new fill layer, fill it with #422e20. Set at 100% on Exclusion.
Step #4 - Make a new fill layer, fill it with #0748dd. Set at 3% on Pin Light.

(note: if the reds in your icon are becoming too intense, you can skip this step)
Step #8 - (Optional) - I wanted darken it just a teeny bit so I went back to my second screen layer, duplicated it, and set it to softlight at 25%.
Step #9 - Then at the end I went back to my base and sharpened it.
And there you have it. Hope you enjoy :)
