Notes on pale green paper, written in a feminine hand with floral-scented ink, are found slipped under the following doors: Spindle, Freida, Ash, Merry, Tommy Lee, Peri, Vincent, Darian, and any of the twins' other friends. A note is also hand-delivered to Aki by Galatea in the hall, with an admonition not to tell Aidan about its contents.

"A party?" Grinning, Freida memorizes the room number and slides the paper into her backpocket. "That's exactly what this place needs!"

Immediately she strolls over to Fairgrove, rapping a shave-and-a-hair-cut on the door in question.

"Coming!" Galatea's voice carols from the other side of the door. A few seconds later, she opens the door. When she sees who it is, her face lights up with delight. "Hi, Freida! You here about the note? Come on in!" She stands aside to let Freida into the room. "Kali's gone off someplace - probably with that cute pooka - or I'd ask her to help out, too."

"Yeah," Freida replies. "Hope she's doing all right. Maybe she'll come back for the party..."

She takes a look around, covert nosey, a Boggan on the prowl. "What do you have in mind? Big Blue is an awesome catereror."

Galatea's side of the room is decorated in sensuous fabrics in deep greens and warm browns and tans. There is an older-model laptop on the desk, and a large Art Nouveau-style calendar tacked above it with various dates circled. Upon closer inspection, they bear notes like, "AoL paper due," "New Leaf to layout," and "Articles due." The square for the 21st has two notes in it - "Spring Ball!" and "Valla's b'day!"

A bag from Otherworlds sits on the desk next to the computer, along with a note - "Buy wrapping paper!"

"Yeah, I hope Kali'll be around for the party, too," the satyr girl agrees. "I hardly ever see her anymore." A sigh. Then she brightens up. "Valla probably won't mind a big party - she's cool that way - but Aidan'll probably want to keep things low-key." A chuckle. "I think it embarasses the poor boy to be the center of too much attention. And the Ball is that night anyway, so I thought I'd keep things small ( ... )
