Xandros makes his way down the hall, trying to be as silent as he can. He is carrying a large envelope marked "To Longshadow" which he slips under the sluagh's door. Inside are several mix cd's and a simple note that reads, "Longshadow, I thought you would enjoy these. They're a mix of my favorites. - Alexandros"

Bent over his textbooks, the Sluagh's mind was half asleep. As always, however, his sensitive ears were all awake. Now opened envelope in hand, he runs out into the corridor a moment to late, quickly making his way in the direction of the retreating hoof-fall. "Xandros, mon ami--wait! I wish to say thank you!"

Luckily Xandros has only made it a few feet down the hallway when Longshadow opens the door. He turns around and walks back towards Longshadow. "You're welcome, it was my pleasure." He smiles at the sluagh. "I just wanted to share something with you that means a lot to me, I hope you like it."

"I know I will. They shall help me get to know you better." The Sluagh runs a hand through his hair, looking nervous. "Say, we never did get to go clubbing during our roadtrip. Are you still up to that?"

Xandros grins "And I look forward to getting to know you better as well mon ami."

"No, we didn't. We definitely should go out sometime soon. When is good for you?"

"This weekend, perhaps? If it would make you more comfortable, we could invite others..." He trails off, looking back nervously in the direction of the door. "Gudge will understand, I'm certain, if I do not invite him to this. You and I need time to develop, too."

Xandros grins. "This weekend sounds like a plan. Invite who you want, for me, all that matters is that you'll be there. The only question is how we are going to get there. Have any ideas?"

Longshadow takes a step closer, daring to rest his hand on Satyr's hip. "There's a difference, I think in what you can deal with and what you actually want--and what I hope you're wanting is some alone time. I know I wouldn't mind being pressed against you on a dance floor for several hours. But as for how to get there, do you think Vincent would let us borrow his car? The thought of taking you on a date via the RoVan..." He smiles, his fingers squeezing. "There's always a cab, though that's less private."

Xandros smiles placing his hand over Longshadow's, "Well, would love to go alone with you in Vincent's van, but I'm afraid to admit that I can't drive."

"Hmmm. I can, but I don't have a driver's license for the states." He squeezes those pretty, talented fingers. "Give me a day to work something out? I suddenly have a brilliant idea."

The satyr nods and grins. "You know where to find me." He leans over and gives Longshadow a kiss.

The kiss lingers, Longshadow's hand moving upwards to cradle the back of the Satyr's head.
