U-Con At Uconn: Day 2
U-Con day 2.
We got up at stupid-o'clock in the morning, scared the people at Dunkin' Doughnuts, and got to the con around 10:30. We spent a ton of time wandering around doing a whole lotta' nuttin' until Nostalgia Critic at noon. He was so. Fucking. Funny. After that was more aimless wandering. It was fun, but it is a very very small con, so there really wasn't much to do.
Driving back to Lisa's house was fucking terrifying. First off, the police forced us to turn around on this sketchy back road we were on because there were a bunch of cars in front of us that were stuck. So we turned around and took another route back. There was a shit-ton of ice on the streets and we ended up skidding out on a hill. It was one of the most terrifying moments in my entire life. Thankfully the car didn't spin out, but we did end up sliding into the oncoming lane. Thank the powers that there was no oncoming traffic. We were all so fucking terrified. We also had another incident with ice about 3 feet from Lisa's driveway. The car got stuck on a patch of ice so we all had to get out with all of our crap and have her dad drive the car into the driveway.
Sunday was DDR, and mall crawling in cosplay.
Well, there is more fucking snow coming our fucking way...
