Dear God In Heaven...Make The Snow Stop!!!
So, for those of us who don't know, us in New England have gotten about 80 zillion feet of snow in the past few weeks. While snow is fun for playing in, school closings, and other shenanigans.....
It's starting to suck some major ass.
The last snow storm that came through dumped about 30ish inches of snow on us. On top of another 15ish inches of snow that had already been on the ground from two weeks and the weekend prior.
And on top of that, my sister, my mom and I had to shovel all 30ish inches of that snow off of our driveway due to the fact that our snowplow couldn't get through it all, it was so packed.
Now, for those of us who don't know what 30 inches of snow look like, imagine trying to shovel snow that is up to your waist.....yeah, that's about 30 right there.
Of course, since we've been shoveling snow off of our driveway, and plowing it off of our streets for the past 4 weeks constantly, there is now absolutely no place to put the snow anymore. The city has had to call in front-loaders to pick up the snow and move it to different places. When we shovel our drive, we have the throw the snow over piles that are at least 2 heads taller than I am. I'm 5' 6", think about that.
And now, we are getting another snow storm coming in this weekend, starting Thursday night.
