Some impressions from Würzburg where the OH Zax and I went last weekend, to go to an Archive concert (which was awesome!) and take a look around the city.
Yay, another window lover! ♥ Windows and doors are just so interesting to look at, aren't they? And you often get so many great details, doorknobs, curtains, things on window sills, frames, reflections... I don't think you're crazy at all *g* I liked the castle ones because they are slanted, I don't think I've ever seen that before on a castle, and there are a lot of castles around here *g*
It's great to hear you like the photos! Photography is just a hobby for me, one I didn't really indulge in for a while because my old analog camera died in 2002, and I didn't get a good digital one until two years ago. But I have to say I like image processing and the effects you can create with it a lot. I don't need my pictures to look realistic, as long as they express what I see in them.
I share a love for details and textures and patterns with Cloud, which is one reason I like her work so much. She's got such a great eye for things, plus she has a great level of skill. I'm still a bit lacking in that department, but enjoy learning and finding out new things. I guess having fun is the main aspect of a hobby, anyhow *g*
