As I am sure you are all aware of, Livejournal has undergone a good handful of changes that have made roleplaying here just a little more difficult. With how the staff of Livejournal and the ones in charge of the code have responded and interacted with the members, it looks as though these changes will be permanent

I hate to admit it but I'm 99% sure I'll be dropping if Route doesn't move. This is nothing against anyone's opinions or the majority's decision, let me just say that up front. Please understand that I've just run out of patience for trying to deal with or support this site in even the most basic sense: Providing free patronage/being another number in favor of their popularity. Here's why:
It seems clear to me that they'll continue adding insult to injury with no regard for their userbases' feelings, and maybe that's their RIGHT in the simplest of terms, but I don't approve of it. It's insulting to simplify the heart of this issue as "just more LJ drama". In regards to integrity this ship is going down and no amount of backpedaling and free paid time (for the "DDOS" attacks, yeah right, LJ, most of those accounts weren't even paid at that time, and I'm not the only one that's noticed) is going to buy me off to stay. At this point the only way LiveJournal is going to improve is if they fire the higher up's and every corrupted member of the staff. That's not happening anytime soon, so unfortunately I no longer have any hope for this place. I think even Katara would have given up by now.
If LJ doesn't give two #@!?^ about our opinions, those of us who have been here for years through thick and thin alike, paying customers or not, I'm taking my business and my money to someone that does.
I love this game and I only just got into some of my others, so I am not making this decision lightly. I agree with Pichi (Mamoru-mun), you don't need to be caught up in the heat-of-the-moment to see what's happening. I'm beyond knee-jerk reaction time, that was 5 days ago, last week, you know, the first spit in our faces that started all this? Ranting about the aesthetic changes, that was knee-jerk. Ranting about the site functionality and everything afterwards? All clear headed, even optimistic thinking. I was on board with canceling subs. just until they rolled back 88. All this combined, though? No.
I will stay long enough to see the poll results if nothing else.

I have been here since 2003. And, going by the comments, this means nothing to LJ, and those RP times are now gone forever. I still go back and read those for inspiration and to remember what a great time that RP was. Mother fuck.

But this? This is an issue I saw on my personal journal, but I thought nothing of it since they came back with the journal style. But now that this will be a permanent thing? No way. No way. I'd rather move everything I have from my personal journal into DW and then concentrate on this kid's journal before importing the others. /sigh ;n;
