Due to a little confusion, we decided to compile a list on what Pokemon are in the routes your characters will be traveling through! Here is also a small list of how long it will take to get from destination to destination:
From Cherrygrove to Violet = One week.
From Violet to Union Cave = Six days.
Getting through Union Cave = Depends on how lost your character gets. Two days is the least amount of time they can spend there.
From Union Cave to Azalea = One day from morning to sunset if at a brisk pace. Otherwise, One day and halfway through the night if at a leisurely pace.
Through the Ilex Forest = Five days, if you're lucky. At most without getting lost, six days. Hey, it's a big forest!
From exiting Ilex Forest to Goldenrod = Four days.
There will be more distance information when players have finally reached Goldenrod :)
Route 29 : Pidgey, Rattata, Sentret, Hoppip, HootHoot*
All levels will be between 2 and 4.
*Only appears at night
Cherrygrove City : Tentacool, Tentacruel, Magikarp, Krabby, Corsola**, Staryu*, Psyduck
Tentacool and Tentacruel are between the levels of 15-24 and 20-40, so do grab at them with caution. Due to the levels, these will be unable to be caught since they are strong enough to wipe out beginners.
Magikarp, Psyduck and Krabby are level 10.
*Only appears at night, between the levels of 20-40. Due to the levels, Staryu are unable to be caught at this time since they are strong enough to wipe out beginners.
**Can only be found in the wee hours of the morning, between the levels of 20-40. Corsola are unable to be caught at this time since they are strong enough to wipe out beginners, and have a tendancy to be shy creatures so they would most likely run away to far deeper parts of the water.
Route 30 : Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey, Ledyba*, Metapod, Kakuna, Hoppip, Magikarp, Rattata**, Spinarak**, HootHoot**, Poliwag***, Zubat**
All levels are between 2-5
*Only can be found in the wee hours of the morning, and only at level 3.
**Can only be found at night between the levels of 2-5.
***In the grass, Poliwag are also only found at night and between the levels above. If a character goes swimming for one, they will find the Poliwag are between the levels of 15-24 and are unable to be caught due to being strong enough to wipe out beginners.
Route 31 : Bellsprout, Caterpie, Weedle, Ledyba*, Metapod, Kakuna, Hoppip, Rattata**, Spinarak**, HootHoot**, Poliwag**, Zubat**, Gastly***
All levels are between 3-6. Bellsprout will be unusually common in this area, moreso than anything else. (Get your weedwhackers out--)
*Only found in the wee hours of the morning at level 3.
**Only found at night.
***Only found at night and incredibly difficult to find. Most likely an encounter will include the Gastly playing a prank and purposely scaring the crap out of the character and possibly licking and paralyzing the starter Pokemon. The few that are here are level 10.
Dark Cave : Geodude, Zubat, Dunsparce*, Teddiursa**
Due to how dark this cave is, characters currently cannot get too far into it without bumping into the magical ledges. But there is enough space to look around and wander a little...
All levels are 2-4.
*Incredibly rare due to the timid nature, they will always run away and escape into the darkness. All are level 4.
**Can only be found in the morning, and are difficult to find. (But there is more chance of finding a Teddiursa during the morning than a Dunsparce at any time.)
Violet City : Nothing is available for capture in the city. There are some level 40 Magikarp in the water, but they will all swim away upon encounter.
Sprout Tower : Surprisingly, there are no Bellsprouts available for capture in this tower. Instead, it is full of Rattata that are available from levels 3-6. Gastly are also here, and are much more abundant and less full of pranks so it is far easier to catch one here. They are levels 3-6.
Route 32 : Ekans, Rattata, Bellsprout, Pidgey, Hoppip, Mareep, Wooper*, Gastly*, HootHoot*, Zubat*, Magikarp**, Tentacool**, Quilfish**
All levels are 4-8.
*Only can be caught at night.
**Only by fishing can these be caught. No jumping in the water to pull them out, they will swim away. Magikarp and Tentacool are level 10, but Quilfish are level 40 and will be unable to be caught due to being capable of knocking the character and starter out.
Ruins of Alph : Nothing is available for capture in the ruins. In depth information is to be discovered by the characters :) If your character is going to stay and investigate the ruins, please contact Okami for more information.
Union Cave : Sandshrew, Zubat, Geodude, Onix, Rattata, Wooper*, Goldeen, Magikarp
*Only can be found at night.
All Rattata are level 4, the rest are level 6. Goldeen and Magikarp can only be fished, and they are level 10.
Route 33 : Ekans, Geodude, Spearow, Rattata, Hoppip, Zubat*
*Only can be found at night.
All levels are 6-8.
Azalea Town : Nothing is available for capture in town. There are some wild Zubat in the Slowpoke Well, but they are only level 2.
Ilex Forest : Paras, Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle, Kakuna, Pidgey, Zubat*, Oddish*, Venonat*, HootHoot*
*Can only be caught at night even if the place always looks like it's nighttime.
All levels are 5-9.
Route 34 : Rattata, Jigglypuff, Abra, Drowzee*, Ditto, Pidgey, Snubbull, HootHoot*, Krabby, Magikarp
*Can only be found at night.
Abra are also incredibly tough to capture due to their use of the move Teleport. Have fun catching one :)
All levels are 10-12.
Goldenrod City : Nothing is available for capture in the city. To help with the many different features the city contains, however,
here is a link to Bulbapedia's information. The GTS building is closed for revonations and cannot be entered. The Goldenrod Game Corner consists of the slot machines, as well as Voltorb Flip. More information on those two games will be available later.
That is all I will cover for now, as it should take quite a bit of time for characters to arrive all the way in Goldenrod :)
