The Pokeball flew upwards and landed in Perry's outstretched hand as Charmander watched it fly upwards again. The pair were standing near the edge of Route 29 and were waiting for Einhart to pick up her friend. While he didn't want to wait around too long, he knew that those two were completely unaccustomed to this place.
"Char?" inquired Charmander, wondering what was keeping them. Perry held up a hand and there was a silent communication between them. They looked at the tall grass and smiled as one. Maybe a demonstration perhaps? He wouldn't capture a Pokemon, not yet. That would be saved for later.
Idly he wondered if Phineas noticed he hadn't shown up yet, and silently worried for them. But at least the girls were alright, and for now they'd be his owners. Besides, it was kind of ironic really to go from two boys to two girls. Now all they needed was a bossy older sister or brother.
