The snow was still getting to Roxas. The cloudy days were making him exhausted, and there was just so much of it. More often than not he had been asked to go shovel snow in front of the department store, and sometimes even of the roof even though it was largely disused.

He plodded his way down the street, still glad that they were clear for the most part. He had to find a place to eat quick before he got back to work. Maybe some food would give him a little more energy.

Aerith's attention was still on the passing stores until she noticed, from the corner of her eye, something blond and spikey. She stopped glancing at the stores and decided to look ahead only to find Roxas walking down the very same street.

"Roxas!" said Aerith with a bright smile. She quickly headed towards the boy's side with the smile never leaving her lips. "It's been a while, hasn't it? What are you up to?" asked Aerith wondering if he was on his lunch break.

He stopped when he heard his name, and turned.

"Hi Aerith," He said as she came over. "Yeah, are you feeling better?" He asked, answering her question with another. What he was up to wasn't that important.

"I'm feeling much better," answered Aerith happily, nodding in argreement to her words. She noticed how Roxas didn't answer her earlier question, but decided to drop it. He wasn't the type to answer personal questions so easily, afterall.

"I kept my promise," added Aerith, placing her hands behind her back. "About staying in my room, I mean." It was difficult staying in her room the last couple of days. Her pokemon really did help keep her mind off her cold, by reminding her about the new sewing kit she got for Christmas. "You seem to be doing pretty well, too. How are you?" asked Aerith with a bit of concern in her voice. She couldn't help remember about the post he made a few days ago.

"Good. It's good that you're better," Roxas replied, and he did mean it. Aerith was nice, and bad things shouldn't happen to nice people, at least in his mind.

"I'm doing alright," was the answer, said kind of quietly. He was doing better, now that he had a goal, or several, but he was still kind of lost.

"Thank you," responded Aerith happily with the smile growing brighter. She couldn't help feel happy by the compliment. It was good to be healthy again.

Observing Roxas silently over his answer, she wanted to ask him about the video he made the other day, but she didn't want to catch him off guard. Instead, she began to look around the area to find a place to eat lunch and chat for a little bit. When she saw a cafe down the block, Aerith decided it was going to be the best place to go, so she turns to Roxas.

"Say, are you hungry? I was just heading to the cafe down the street for lunch. Do you want to join me?" asked Aerith hoping he would accept her lunch offer. Maybe it'll help him feel comfortable enought to talk about whatever was on his mind. Aerith has a feeling there was more going on than he was letting on.

"Uh...sure. I was just looking for something to eat," Roxas replied. He hadn't really spent a whole lot of time with Aerith, so this would start to make up for it. Besides he was hungry and needed to eat something before he went back to work.

It might help if he talked to Aerith as well, and deal with these new feelings he had discovered.

Glancing at the time on her pokegear, Aerith noticed they had plenty of time to, not only eat lunch, but chat, spent time together, and even head back to work together. Well, only if Aerith played her cards right.

"Great!" cheered Aerith, bringing her hands together excitedly. "Let's get going. You must be as hungry as I am, right now. It wouldn't be a good idea to miss lunch," explained Aerith, waving a thoughtful finger at the idea of missing lunch.

She began to walk ahead a few steps, until turning her head towards Roxas, wondering if he was following her.

Roxas nodded, and started after her. He picked up the pace a little so he could walk beside her. Granted he still wasn't saying much, but it was nice to be walking with someone. He felt weird, being without his pokemon.

Aerith didn't utter a single word to Roxas, enjoying the silence between them, but she did give him a reasuring smile. It was nice to walk with someone even if they didn't talk.

Standing in front of the small cafe, she noticed how the cafe bearly had many people and offering a lunch special, too. Which included: a main course, three side dishes, endless supply of drinks and pastries. She began to sway softly while placing her hands behind her back. Wondering if Roxas wouldn't mind eating at the cafe, so she turned to him and asked,

"Is this place good? I know it's look a little too cute, but I don't know any other place closeby."

"Yeah, it's fine," Roxas replied. He didn't mind the cute aspect of it. They made good pastries here, and other sweet things. Something that Roxas appreciated. Not to mention it was close to the Department Store.

"After you," He said quietly, indicating that she should enter first.

An amused smile appeared on her lips, but she went into the cafe without saying anything. The first one to greet them was, one of the maid-dressed employee with a kind smile. Aerith gave her a smile after the young woman gave them a warm welcome, then asked if they came in together.

"Yes. It's just us," replied Aerith. The maid nod her head in understanding, then asks them to follow her to their seats. Aerith follows the girl and began to explain if she could be a little fast with their orders due to time. Again, the maid understands and ask them for their orders.

"I'll have the special with lemonade," ordered Aerith after thinking about it over. She turned to Roxas, her own waitress instincts on, she asked him, "What would you like?" Aerith will be taking her seat while she waited for him to order his lunch.

After sitting down, Roxas picked up the menu, trying to decide what to get. He glanced over the menu, not really talking while he thought.

"Just soup is fine," he said to the waitress, "And some milk."

It seemed almost childish, but Roxas didn't seem to mind.

After the maid had written down the orders, she promise to return soon, and left the two alone. Aerith watched the maid a little longer because she was fascinated by the uniform.

"It's really cute," muttered Aerith mostly to herself, but it was loud enought for Roxas to hear. She couldn't help wonder if it was normal to find cafe with waitresses dressed up as maids in other worlds. There was a cafe in Traverse Town, but it never had any waitresses serving anyone. So, she was curious to know if lively towns tend to have those type of businesses.

"Are there places like these in Twilight Town?" asked Aerith loud and clear with her attention on Roxas.

"Sort of. There's cafes, but not ones like these," Roxas replied. He hadn't really eaten at any of them, since he and his friends rarely had enough money. It was enough to just have ice cream.

"What about where you're from?"

"Hmmm, it depends on which one you're asking for," replied Aerith looking back on her memories. "I was born in Radiant Garden, but was raised in Traverse Town for over ten years," further explained Aerith sadly.

She couldn't help wonder, if she should just tell Roxas about both. Then again, he might be curious about Radiant Garden mostly. She does live there, after all. A sad smile appeared on her lips once she made up her mind, and began to explain, "There is barely anything back in Radiant Garden. We're still in the middle of construction, so there really isn't any cafes or restaurants in town. Even Scrooge sell his Sea-Salt ice cream out in the open, next to the freezer he bought."

Aerith looked down on her clasped hands, that were sitting on her lap. "Traverse Town had a sort of cafe, but no one ever worked there. Yuffie, Leon, and I usually sat there to just talk. We were never served anything unless I brought the barley tea along with me."
