When: After firing off a message to Aerith. Early morning.
Summary: If he wasn't already planning on beelining over to Goldenrod, Zack definitely is now. He's gonna pick up a few supplies, pick up a delivery, and hit the road solo.

With everything that's happened over the last weekend, Yayoi isn't in the best of moods, either. What she DOES know is that she should probably get ready to go back to Goldenrod, which means she needs to stock up on money.

... which is why she's the one manning the register. Yayoi nods, not really registering Zack's presence. "Okay... um, would you like Normal, Super, or Hyper?"

There wasn't much going on upstairs in Zack's case, either... Performing minimal functions were unbelievably difficult at this point and the fact that Yayoi was the one working behind the counter he was standing at hadn't quite caught up to him yet.

"Hyper's the one."

He wasn't even speaking at full volume -- more like muttering at this point as he searched pocket after pocket for his wallet.

"Okay. So that's, um..." Yayoi turns to rummage through the shelves behind the counter and grabs an armful of spray bottles, plunking three Hyper Potions down. "Would ten Repels be enZack!?"

Guess who finally thought to look up at that familiar spiky mop of hair face?

There was a double-take and half of a triple-take before recognition really sank in and he flinched with a start.

"... Yayoi? Wait -- You work here?"

Yayoi nods, not noticing the flinch. "Yup! This is at least my fifth time working here!" The idol smiles brightly, her blue funk temporarily overcome by the joy of seeing a familiar face. "Eheheh... long time no see! When did you get into Violet?"

"I've been in and out for a while. Doin', uh..."

He pulled the package out from under his arm and shrugged with a half-smile.

"... Deliveries 'n stuff. Aren't you a little young to be workin' a cash register?"

... Then again, considering where he was, a blatant violation of child labor laws probably wasn't all that far-fetched.

Yayoi nods. "I think it's alright!" ... well, she's not going to mention that she's done it once or twice back at home. Still, she wilts a little. "It's just that I can only work part-time, not full-time- it used to be eight hours, but they cut it down to five."

She looks so disappointed by that fact.
