Summary: .Ahiru starts teaching her pokemon the basics of dance, and Arthur joins in while they wait for Merlin's arrival.

"Yes, please distract him," Arthur tugged Pellinore off of his shoulder, where the pidgey had decided to perch and fluff up his feathers to the most immense volume possible. He gently tossed the bird Pokémon towards Ahiru's pair, and he fluttered for a moment before lightly landing on the ground. He glanced down at Ygraine, who had been placidly sitting beside his foot, "Go on then, dance." Ygraine trotted to sit beside Pellinore, and the pair gazed expectantly at Arthur.

The prince stared back at the two, and after a long pause asked, "What?"

In unison, the two looked from Ahiru's pokémon to the girl, and then back to him.

"You want me to teach you?" The two looked excited, affirming a positive response. "I don't know that dance. All the dances I know are social dances. I would need a partner to show you any of the dances I know."

Teal had been imitating Ahiru's arm movements while Lohengrin grudgingly attempted to not fall over while in fifth position. Ahiru looked thoughtfully at the prince for a moment, then smiled softly, extending a hand.

"I can dance with you, Prince Arthur," she said, then blushed slightly, "I-I might not be the best, but I'll try to keep up. I'd love to try learning new dances!"

Before Arthur could reply, Pellinore had gripped his pant leg in his beak and was pulling Arthur towards Ahiru, clearly excited by the prospect of learning a dance as her pokémon were. "All right," Arthur agreed. He wondered how many times his feet would be tread upon by the girl as he recalled the numerous times she had managed to stumble over various small obstacles along their trek to Cherrygrove.

"This one is usually performed by a whole group of people. We line up face-to-face with our partners," he took her hands in his. "Mirror my movements." Arthur proceeded to dance, slowing his footwork to be easily matched.

Pellinore hopped over to Teal, excitedly flapping his wings in an overzealous invitation to dance.

Ahiru felt a little bead of nervousness rising up as he took her hands, but remembered the encouragement from her new friends, and the nervousness just died away. Nodding at his instructions, she smiled back at him. She had managed to keep up with Rue, Fakir, and Mytho before when they led, right? As they started to dance, she followed Arthur's lead easily, her movements light and cheerful.

In the meanwhile, Teal chirped happily back at Pellinore, fluffing herself up a little as she hopped around the other bird in imitation of the two humans. Lohengrin snuffled a little, crossing his arms. He had almost fallen over before, and he wasn't sure if this was a good idea. But his trainer seemed to enjoy this dancing stuff. Awkwardly, he extended a paw out to Ygraine, not making eye contact. If she wished to take his invitation, she could.
