Sai had never walked so far in his life. Or his death, but he didn't think it would have counted if he had. He felt grimy and full of aches and he was certain he'd look a mess if he had a mirror. He was thankful for the sandals he'd been given but his feet still ached and his hair had gotten horribly tangled. He was trying to pick out the leaves and twigs that had gotten stuck in it but not getting anywhere at all.
That, and his two traveling partners had been terribly quiet. He felt sorry for Aki--those strange shoes of hers looked so painful, worse than none at all--but Kaiba had no excuse. Well, if they wouldn't talk, he would have to take up the burden! "Tell me more about your game; it sounds interesting!"
