It hasn't been long since Souji arrived in Johto. Really, to be precise, it was only about twelve minutes and twenty six seconds, but who was counting? Probably only Souji. As for the last time he last saw his friends, it was fourteen hours, twelve minutes and now thirty eight seconds. That was the last time he saw them as he boarded a train back home to the city. But he wasn't going to forget things about them easily. Things like Yukiko's giggle fits, Yosuke's fanboying over some new model, or Teddie's "scoring with the girls" advice.
So when Souji heard that squeaking sound, it confused him a bit at first. That guy really wasn't here, was he? But after hearing a familiar rhythm of squeaks and that voice, he knew who it was for sure. No question about it. And he had the slightest clue as to what would happen now. Though he kept quiet and calm about it. Here, let him just count it down of what might happen in three...two...one...
