I MAY BE ABSURDLY SLOW I'M SORRY ;A; also she's in Violet biteisbigger October 8 2010, 19:12:27 UTC
It was a cold and rainy day, one reminiscent to the day where Hatsuharu had found her curled up as a tiger, and therefore one Kisa wasn't feeling too chipper about. It had been some time since then, and it didn't feel as though she'd gotten any braver.

She'd been sitting in the Center by herself (none of her Pokémon were fans of the rain), just silently listening to the idle conversations of customers when she started hearing certain things that caught her attention immediately. Like the talk about a young girl running all over... looking for a Pichu.

Cocona-chan...?

The girl looked out the window at the pouring rain, flinching as thunder rolled again, and bit her lip. She couldn't just sit there, knowing that Cocona was out in this. She left a note at the counter in case her groupmates became concerned, braced herself, and headed out.

So it was that Cocona would soon see a figure carrying a bright yellow umbrella trotting quietly her way.

"Kuro! Kurooo! Where are you?!" Cocona continued to shout as she ran all over the area near the Pokemon center. She looked behind houses, trees, electric generators that powered the buildings... Heck, she even knocked from house to house in an attempt to find her Pokemon.

She now stood still in one place with the umbrella hovering over her head. Cocona was virtually limitless when it came to energy, so she was trying to remember all of the spots she had checked.

But then she spotted a figure in the distance. It didn't look like any other person that she had talked to in the rain at first since she did not see anybody else carrying a yellow umbrella. That color was distinct in the gloomy weather and Cocona was somehow drawn to it-

"K-Kisa? What are you doing out here?" Even in the midst of panic, she was concerned for her friends.

To answer would have been easy had she possessed the words for it, but she'd yet to find the bravery to unseal them, so Kisa was left trying to explain with silence and gestures. She moved one hand off her umbrella to point to her friend, eyes wide with just as much concern as Cocona was displaying for her. That she was missing her usual Pichu companion was a sure sign that Kuro was gone, and she didn't like the idea of either of them staying out in this.

When Cocona had understood what Kisa was trying to tell her, she tried to calm herself down just a bit. However, the thought of losing Pichu forever was a huge mess in her mind, but she managed to suppress the worst thing that could happen within the back of her head.

She had her head tilted down for a moment, but then she lifted her head, looking straight at Kisa. "Have you seen Kuro anywhere, Kisa? I left her in the Pokemon center for just a bit, but then she disappeared!"

Kisa shook her head apologetically in response. She hadn't seen a single black-and-yellow furry thing all day, let alone Cocona's partner, but she wished she had now. Maybe then she could have helped.

But... why would Kuro disappear? She wasn't anywhere near as timid Kisa was, but when Kisa felt like leaving, she usually tried to find a place with less people-- for certain reasons.

She gazed out at the city, then over at the path leading out of it with growing thoughtfulness. Of course, if Kuro was anything like Ari, then maybe she was chasing wild Pokémon? Storms wouldn't bother something that used electricity, she hoped.

Cocona followed Kisa's gaze to the gate that separated Route 31 and Violet City. "Do you think Kuro could have gone out of Violet City? Maybe we should ask the Policeman there!"

It sounded like a plan to her, so she nodded this time. If Kuro had left the town, surely the police would have noticed. ... Even if they DID seem a little unprofessional, but Kisa tried not to have any involvement with them anyway.

"Yeah!" Cocona couldn't wait to run off, but she had to consider her friend's situation as well. Without hesitation, she followed up with the question, "Could you help me look for Kuro?"

This time the nod was immediate as Kisa gave her the closest thing to a determined expression as she could muster. It wasn't entirely as impressive as it would have been on anyone else, but she did her best. She couldn't go back inside knowing that her... friends (if they considered themselves that) were still out there.

"Thanks, Kisa. Now let's go!" Cocona was very much on her way to the border between Violet City and Route 31 with her umbrella that shielded her from the rain. Then she stopped running near the building to wait for her friend.

She was fast, but Kisa was a quick little thing herself, and Cocona was shorter than she was. It didn't take long for her to find a decent pace in order to run after her with her umbrella still held firmly above her head.

As soon as Kisa caught up, Cocona entered the gateway and eyed the Policeman behind the counter. She didn't bother closing her umbrella because she knew that she was going to head out once more out of the shelter, so she put it off to the side.

"Mister, have you seen a small yellow mouse that came by here? A Pichu?" Cocona questioned, standing a bit of a distance from the counter. She knew if she went closer to the counter, the policeman wouldn't be able to see her since the counter was a bit tall.

"Well, yes. But what are you doing out at this weather, little girl-"

"Okay, that was all I needed to hear!" Cocona abruptly cut off the policeman's speech. She didn't need to hear such trivial things at the moment at hand. "Let's go, Kisa!" She said, pointing to the other door the led to Route 31.

Kisa bowed apologetically to the policeman so he wouldn't get upset about being interrupted, before she took off once again after Cocona. This girl had Momiji's level of energy-- which wasn't a bad thing at all, it just took some adjusting. She was sure if Ari had gone missing, though, or any of her others, she would have done the exact same thing.

Cocona was met with a huge lightning bolt in the distant skies with a clash of thunder. She flinched at first with the sudden loud noise, but raised her umbrella, preparing herself for the heavy rain.

"If she went in the Dark Cave, I hope she didn't go too far in..."

She could barely hear Cocona over the thunder and the rain, catching only "Dark Cave" and fervently hoping that Kuro wasn't in there. She glanced around to see if she could spot any sort of yellow, straining just as hard to try and pick up familiar sounds. She couldn't have gone that far, right?

"Kuro! Where are you?!" Cocona rushed into the tall grass and tried to spot anything yellow. When it was raining with cloudy weather, the grass tended to seem greener, which Cocona thought was great because spotting Kuro would be easier due to color contrast.

But Cocona still couldn't find her, so she ran through the grass, whacking some away from her face.
