IT'S FUCKING CHRISTMAS!!!
And, honestly, there isn't a thing besides food that Wally loves more than Christmas. As the song says, "it's the most wonderful time of the year!" AND IT IS. IT REALLY IS. Well, for now, anyway. But we won't talk about what's to come. For now, let's just enjoy this beautiful Christmas morning! Because the team, Steph, and Midori are the closest things he has to family here, and Christmas for Wally is family. The presents don't even matter, it's being with his family, being surrounded by love and the Christmas spirit and all that other sappy good stuff-that's what really matters. He won't lie, he really does miss Barry and Iris, Jay and Joan, his parents, but as long as he's got his friends and a nice Christmas tree, he'll be able to make due without them.
Thankfully, the Goldenrod Inn supplies all of that and more. The lobby is completely decked out, bursting with Christmas decorations on the walls, the chairs, everything. And, of course, there's a huge Christmas tree in the middle of the sitting area, the perfect place for a gift exchange of the most super caliber. He told everyone to meet him downstairs around 11 AM, but he's a little early himself. It's the Christmas excitement. And he really can't wait to give everyone their gifts.
