[Slipping into the building and past the doors is laughably easy, considering there aren't any guards. Which is actually pretty suspicious, if he thinks about it. What had happened to all the Rockets?

He stops in the main hallway, glancing behind him to check on the others. He keeps his voice low when he speaks.]

This looks like a good place to split into groups. Anyone want to follow me?

[ Talim steps forward, her voice equally low ]

Should anyone need help, though, text my 'Gear with your location, and I'll try to get to you as quickly as I can.

Same with my Gear. [Before this, he hasn't gotten a chance to work with Talim as much as he'd like, so this definitely pleases him.]

Let's just take a look around for now, and keep on guard.

[ She takes a look around before settling on Generic Hallway B, and starts off. ]

I find it strange that there was no one at the door.

They might be busy. [He trails behind her, body tense and alert.] Lightning and Ven mentioned something about them coming in and out of the headquarters a lot more than usual last week--kind of like they're preparing for something.

[He turns around the corner and stops, pulling out two pokeballs.] We've got some company. [A group of five guard pokemon--Muk and Wheezing--catch sight of them and rush down the hall.]

[The lack of guards anywhere in sight has Lightning rather wary; it's been over a week since they started watching the place, but she's sure that they couldn't have cleared out this fast. It's too simple and every soldier sense in her body is screaming to watch out. So she turns over her shoulder, looking at the ones behind her.]

Don't make too much noise. The longer we can stay hidden the better.

[Lightning nods, giving Ven the faintest hint of a smile as she ties her hair away from her face and steps around the corner, senses strained so nothing catches them off guard...not that there's anything to do that. These first few halls seem empty and lifeless. Almost like nothing's been here for days.

How could they all have gotten out so quietly like that? It's unnerving to Soldier-Lady here and that's probably a terrible thing.]

[It's certainly appearing to be some kind of trap, and Lightning is yet again wishing for her Gunblade in case of an ambush. However, the tug on her sleeve is enough to get her to sop in her tracks, tilting her head to the side as she looks at Ven. She doesn't say a word in order to keep the silence, but the look on her face should speak her question loudly enough; what's the matter?]

[Lightning's eyes narrow at that, and she looks down the other hall. More statues are there, and they appear too close to the walls to get by behind them. There's no telling if there are more sensors than just the ones that are probably in the eyes, and it's too risky to try now. So she turns her head, whispering in the same low tones as Ven just did.]

There anyway to get past them without triggering the alarms? I don't see a route without any of them nearby.

[Not knowing what to look for, Lightning just keeps an eye out for trouble while Ven scouts around for the switch. They got in a little too easily for her tastes, and she's just waiting for that ambush. Too quiet. Much too quiet.]
