I guess we're both pretty strong, makin' it to this round, huh?

[It's day two. Hibiki's had a good rest, but she knows it's going to get harder...but she can't lose, not while Makoto is still going strong.]

I'm not gonna lose yet!

O-Oh, totally!

[Though his previous opponent was also a girl, and not an easy one to defeat at that, he's admittedly still a little nervous. He's so used to fighting all these large dudes. But if this girl is as tough as his last opponent, he was going to have to do his best.]

Hey, don't count on me to be losin' here, either!

Whatever! As long as it's a good fight, okay? No cheap moves!

[And with that, Hibiki is moving in, an offensive stance at her disposal. She probably moves a lot faster than Lil Mac thought she would. Right as she reaches him, though, she drops into a crouch and tries to spin a kick at his legs. She notices those boxing gloves, and she's going to try and avoid them.]

[He's about to answer, but wow, she closed the gap a lot faster than Mac thought she would! The hit to his legs takes him by surprise, sending him to the mat. He jumps back to his feet and tries to create some distance to get his head back together, keeping his guard up, at least until he can get a better feel for how Hibiki fights.]

Man, I ain't never doubtin' how girls fight again...!

[Her footwork is among the lightest, if not the lightest, of her production company. Hibiki isn't letting up, though, and as soon as she's on her feet she's aiming chops and wrists at Lil Mac. They're fast, but she's still a novice, so they're easy to block.]

[Mac does his best to duck and weave around Hibiki's attacks, but he's still taking a few hits here and there. Since the attacks are coming so rapidly, it's a little hard to discern if she has any kind of attack pattern. However, after a few more moments of taking attacks, Mac thinks he sees an opening and tosses out a quick jab.]

[She's just doing the best she can, but that hit definitely catches her, right on the side of the face. Hibiki isn't exactly the tallest person, and that definitely hurts. It's enough to send her back, but not enough to knock her down.]

[Mac is a little surprised; the fact that she's still on her feet definitely days something for how tough she is! Combined with how fast she is...this isn't an easy fight. He dashes forward in an attempt to attack before she can.]

[He's stronger than her, that much is apparent. When she blocks, she has to use both hands, and it still hurts. Her size and weight has her at a severe disadvantage here. To try and stop the attack, she aims a kick at his stomach. She has to reverse the momentum--she's already going to have bruises from this.]

[Being to used to fighting people so much taller than himself, Mac's still not used to defending against body shots, so Hibiki's kick is right on. He stumbles back with a wheeze, trying to catch a breath.]

You're not bad! [She says that in between two huffs. This fight is tough. After catching her own breath, she rushes again, using her hands once more for some palm thrusts. She's aiming for Lil Mac's chest, or just to get past his gloves.]

[Now that he's been reminded that, yes, body blows exist, he does his best to keep pressing forward, keeping his guard up, though several of Hibiki's palm thrusts break through his block.]

[She can't keep up a perfect offense forever, though. As dedicated as she is to these punches, she slows down, trying to pace herself better, giving Lil Mac a more than adequate opening.]

[Mac sees his chance and goes for it, throwing a couple quick jabs at her. If he can't get the chance to make more powerful attacks, he can at least try to make quicker ones to try and drive her back.]
