After running into Takeru, Miyako felt a little better in spirits. After all, she wasn't alone anymore--or at least, not alone in terms of human companions, since she had the little Natu that curiously bounced about next to her--and just being around a person she knew somewhat closely was nice enough. For the first day, at least.
Unfortunately, the next day didn't seem to do as well. She was already tired and missing her parents and her siblings, Hawkmon, and even school, and she really just wanted to turn around and go home. The entire idea of being outside for long periods of time was alright in the digital world, because she could always go home at the end of the day. But here? No home, no cooked dinner at nights, no comfortable bed. Needless to say, she was not used to this in the least.
So when she began to cry again about how she couldn't do this anymore, it was no surprise.
"T-Takeru-kunnn... I can't go anymore!" she squeaked out, sinking to her knees. It felt like half of her time here was spent crying. How depressing.
Of all seriousness, Takeru was used to this world already (at least the one that he ran into), since the areas are particularly the same: trees, wild grasses, and anything that goes with the green colors. Moreover, he knows that the other digidestined: Miyako, Daisuke, and Ken are here with him. Though, the latter two wasn't here by their bodies.
Takeru, being the owner of the trait of hope, would never let any disgraceful despair comes. Not to him, not to his friends, not to anyone. Either a coincidence or destiny, his new partner, the loyal Nidoran, carried the trait. He never slowed down with that littlest body of him. Hey, that means Takeru couldn't as well, right?
All that applies to him, though. His traveling human partner, apparently, have some other thing in mind.
"Come on, Miyako-san." Takeru crouched down, trying to reassure her. "We're not that far from our destination." Or so he guess, since he didn't know where the way out of this area as well... But no use crying and such, right?
Mamoru heard voices in the distance. He wondered if that was what Togepi was so happy about.
One voice was most certainly Miyako. He could still remember the sound of crying from the call. The other voice he didn't recognize. While it was a bit startling-- and meant he'd miscalculated on how much food to bring-- it was probably for the best that she'd had some company for the first part of the walk as well.
Togepi became excited as the pair of kids entered their field of vision. Mamoru set him down and allowed him to run ahead towards them.
Takeru would have to hope enough for the both of them. As far as Miyako was concerned, she preferred to sit there and just sob until her eyes fell out. Or at least that was what it seemed like. She shook her head furiously at her cheerful friend.
"We've been walking all day and we're still just seeing treeeees!" she whined. "We're not going to get anywhere!"
But she did try to wipe her eyes on her sleeves, at least to make a bit of an effort. It wasn't working too well... until the little squeaking, walking egg approached. If anything, Miyako's tears froze as she stared at the thing in surprise. "W-what...?"
