Summary: After a long week of fighting bugs, Aoko made it to Violet. And is looking forward to seeing Kaito so much. Oh, and skirt-flipping.

[Violet may not have been as large as Goldenrod, but it was still a fairly large city. Without being informed beforehand that his best friend had finally rolled into town, he wasn't searching for her, instead choosing to scour the city for any remaining bugs. By now, the swarm had died down significantly, and any remaining bug Pokemon were as calm as the wild ones. It was a relief, not to have to worry about being blown up by a rogue Pineco (he'd be twitchy around those Pokemon for quite some time, he knew it), and even more of a relief to know that everyone was much safer now than they were before.

The explosion had carved an impressive gaze on the outside of one of his thighs, which made it fairly difficult for him to walk (though the Pokemon Center nurses guaranteed a full return of mobility once he was healed). For now, however, he was forced to keep watch over Violet from the shoulders of his Charizard]

Geez... [He was mostly grumbling to himself as he flexed his injured leg, wincing as every movement sent a small pang of pain

[For now, Aoko just rushes around the city.She runs everywhere, trying to find out where he might be. She checked the Pokemon Center, The Poke Mart, and even around Sprout Tower. She was getting pretty tired of running around, but wasn't about to quit.]

He's got to be here somewhere. But.....maybe I shouldn't run around so much now. Stupid Pokegear, breaking like that.

[Aoko decided to just walk for a bit. And she found herself by the gym.]

Wow, that's a pretty big building. Wonder what it's--

[Then she saw him. He was bandaged up, but she could definitely tell it was him.]

K-KAITO!!!!

[She runs toward him.]

[Normally, Kaito wasn't easily startled, but the combination of being injured and tired didn't do him any good. He lets out a surprised yelp as the familiar voice reaches his ears, and has to grab a hold of his Charizard's neck to keep from falling off]

Ka--

[... no, wait. The voice was familiar, but it wasn't Kay's]

[She was so happy. It was actually him. Not over the Pokegear, but right here in front of her. She couldn't help but smile.

But she also saw his injuries, and how bad they looked. But they would heal. In a sweet voice, she begins talking.]

You idiot. I told you not to get yourself injured.

[bakaitoukid]

[The surprise on his expression quickly fades into a grin as she approaches, and although it lacks his normal, composed grace (thank you, Pineco), he slides off of Goro's shoulder and onto the ground (landing with a stumble ouch that hurt]

Hey! Aoko!

[He lifts a hand to wave at her, trotting forward a bit (with a noticeable limp) to meet her half way because holy hell had it really been over nine months since he last saw her]

Idiot, at least I wasn't the one who fell into a hole.

Oh, be careful. [She takes a couple steps forward in case he needs help, but seems....okay, given the circumstances.

And she does not like that limp one bit. She'll tease him a bit, then help if he needs it.]

Well, I wasn't the one who got blasted by a Pineco.

Do you need help?

I wasn't blasted by a Pineco... [Grumps, and shakes his head]

I'm fine, 's just-- [A beat] Are you okay?

[ahokonakamori]

Well, you came pretty close.

[She has a few bandages here and there, but nothing serious.]

I'm fine! I just got a few cuts and scrapes from those stupid bugs. You look a lot worse than me, though. [And it doesn't make her happy.]

[bakaitoukid]

Who, me? [Confident grin] C'mon, this is nothing. I'll be back to normal in a few days, promise!

[ahokonakamori]

Well.......if you say so. [She grins back.]

I hope you're not gonna be like this all the time, though.

What's 'this' mean? Injured?

It takes a lot more than a few Pokemon to keep me down, trust me.

That's true. Not much of anything can keep you down.

Except fish, of course.

'S the first time I've seen you in person in nine months. Do you really have to bring that up?

I'm just saying that's the only thing that will bring you down. And right now, I have every intention of keeping them away from you.

Say, do you want to get something to eat? Running around looking for you made me a bit hungry.

Doesn't mean you have to bring them up.

[Still a bit grumpily] Yeah, yeah, sure. I guess I've gotta show you around Violet while we're here, anyway.

[ahokonakamori]

[She laughs a bit.] All right, all right. Forget I said anything. Don't pout. [She's gonna be nice to him just to make it a little easier.]
