"This lady," Kyouya muttered, "is not going to listen to us, no matter what we say. We might as well deal with it..." He absently pet his Ralts on the head, then looked up at Ted. "How far away is Olivine, exactly?"

Kyouya frowns. "We're expected to survive this sort of driving for that long? It's ridiculous." Ralts nudges against his side and coos happily, trying to cheer Kyouya up, and his brow clears a little.

"I doubt she'll actually crash into anything. Though her driving is reckless-"

His words are punctuated with a sharp jolt to the left and Kyouya clutches the seat in front of him, settling himself down before speaking again.

"Though she's obviously reckless, Olivine City would not have sent the officer if they didn't believe that she could collect the volunteers and come back without significantly harming any of them. So the odds of her failing to come back with all of us unharmed are rather low."

"Or perhaps the situation really is dire and she's trying to get us to Olivine as soon as possible. We need not immediately jump to the conclusion that she's going to kill us. She is a trained official, after all..."

After the bus seems to leap into the air for a few seconds, Kyouya adds a muttered "hopefully..." to the end of the sentence.

Ororo sits in the row behind Ted's - somewhere in the middle of the bus, in the middle of utter chaos. There is noise before her and behind her and all around her, and she would very much rather not try to determine what exactly some of those noises are.

As such, she's employing some calming meditative breathing techniques to escape into a Happier Place. It's something she's learned to do, after having to deal with teenagers who drive this insanely back home. Of course, she hasn't had to deal with an entire busload of passengers making a racket before, and no amount of imperious glaring would result in a threatening roll of thunder to make them all calm down...

But she does hear Ted's terrified outburst! She speaks up a little, raising her voice over the noise to be heard, but not even bothering to open her eyes.

"I don't believe she plans to listen to you, Ted. Even if she does hear you."

Ororo smiles at the slight whine to Ted's voice.

"One way or another, yes. It's of utmost importance that we make it to this coastal city as soon as possible, if there is any truth at all to the news we're getting."

She pauses as Jenny makes another of her ridiculously sharp turns, followed by running right over a speed bump at what feels like 80kph.

Ororo clears her throat.

"Of course, some less reckless driving would be appreciated."

"I'm sure we'll be fine." Ororo assures him. "We're of no use to them injured, after all. Some 'beyond reckless' driving is, however irresponsible, not enough to kill us."

Hopefully, anyway. They've survived thusfar, so evidently Officer Jenny is at least skilled at keeping them alive. Somehow.
