12 years ago today, a 18 month old children was kill. her memory still lives on in her Dad, her Brother, her Grandparents, her Aunt and her friends.

"A Dark Picture"
A tiny hand, a dimpled cheek,
A sandy little curl.
these are the things that make a child
A picture to the world.
But look a little closer
this picture has it's flaws
A blackened eyes, a battered child,
abuse defies all laws.
She huddles in the darkness
Afraid to speak or breath.
what had she sone to set her off,
"God take me home" she pleads
this child lives in terror,
a life that's dark and grim,
neglect, abuse and loneliness,
this child's light is dimmed.
