What is with all the weird weather? First there was the flood watch before there was any rain. Now there is a tornado watch AND it's 60 degrees outside which is warmer than it was when the sun was still out. The tornado watch has me nervous though. Strong wind terrifies me (it's getting a bit windy outside right now) and tornadoes even more so. Especially ever since that one touched down a couple blocks from my house last year.
EDIT: I think the worst of the storm is over now. The horrendous wind seems to have stopped at least. You know how they say you can tell a tornado because it sounds like a freight train? Well, for several hours just the wind sounded almost like that. At one point I heard a loud noise like something breaking. Hopefully it was just a branch hitting the house. Though it might have been some aluminum siding coming loose.
