Where do you think those fairytales come from? Humans aren't that creative. This is our world. What's considered magical and supernatural to humans is normal to us. We're powerful, influential. If we follow the rules, they won't notice us living around them and pulling strings. Get rid of them? Who would be foolish enough to get rid of our energy source? The truth is, we all feed off humans in one way or another. See that guy near the pool table? He feeds off luck. Who do you think runs the show in Vegas? We need humans but they're such fragile things. It's better that they don't know we exist but you might see a few wandering into the pub once in a while. You can claim a human if you want, some find it easier to choose a human as their regular source of energy but I'm warning you- if you claim a human, they're your responsibility. You're in charge of protecting them and our secret. If you can't manage that, someone will make sure you and your human get punished. I would be careful if I was you. But follow the rules and you'll be taken care of. You have to pick a side, either Light or Dark.

Not that old cliché concept, no. Light isn't good and Dark isn't evil. They just function differently. Light has more rules, it's more structured. They look after their own a bit more than Dark Faes but there's more freedom on the Dark side. The Morrigan handles her own better even with less structure but you didn't hear that from me. She's powerful and everyone knows it. She lets you do what you want as long as you don't cause trouble for her. The Ash likes control. He provides everything you need but you have to follow his rules. Both sides have their advantages and disadvantages but it's up to you to decide which one has more to offer for you. They're both going to try to get you on their side but weigh your options carefully and remember that once you've chosen one side, you've automatically made enemies on the other side.
