The Many types of Livejournal Posts.
Hmm.. What to post about. I feel like posting right now, but I can't think of a good topic. I just sneezed all over my monitor.
I could do a post about the detioration of EPiC, from last year to this year, but that is certain peoples faults, and I'm guaranteed to offend someone. No, I will not post about EPiC's flaws.
I could do a picture post.. But I haven't taken any god pictures lately. No, I will not do a Picture post.
I could do an emo post. Those get attention sometimes. But then you get a whole bunch of people giving you crappy advice and acting all profound about it. No, I will not do an emo post.
I could do a story post. But really Jessica Roellig is the only one who can pull that off. No, I will not do a story post.
I could do a survey post. But those are so old, everyone is sick of hearing which one of my friends is the "Most hyper" or if I've cried in the last 2 months. No, I will not do a survey post.
I could do a political sattire post. But then I'll just get yelled at, and I don't feel very opinioated right now. No, I will not do a politcal sattire post.
I could do a "tell about the past week" post. But nothing has happened to me in the past week. No, I will not do a "tell about the past week" post.
I could do a html post. But I never look at those, and when I do they are always tacky and take up too much space and loading time. No, I will not do a html post.
I could a post post where I say "If you can't stop thinking about one person, then post this in your journal." I guess its true for me. But it's always true for me, it's always true for everyone, and besides, do I really care if other people can't stop thinking about one person? No, I will not do a post where I say "If you can't stop thinking about one person, then post this in your journal."
I could do an advertising post. But no good movies are coming out, and Harry Potter 6 is a long way off. No, I will not do an advertising post.
I could do a "bored" post. I am bored after all. But I don't want anyone to call me to "hang out", I hate hanging out more than doing nothing at home. No, I will not do a "bored" post.
I could do a ridiculously long post. I sorta already am. I guess a lot of people read them all the way through. But they are just wasting their time reading those, and I don't want to contribute to the degeneration of human integrity right now (too late?). No, I will not do a ridiculously long post.
I could do a "love post", where I talk about how much I love all my friends. But I don't love my friends anymore than I usually do. No, I will not do a "love post".
I could do a new icon post. But I don't HAVE a new icon. No, I will not do a new icon post.
I could do a "hate post" where I vent how much I hate someone or something (see my last post). But I don't really hate anyone right now. No, I will not do a hate post.
I could do a "Funny Chat" post. These can be entertaining, (posting an aim conversation you've had that turned out unusually interesting) but I haven't had any interesting conversations lately. No, I will not do a "funny chat post.
I could do a foreshadowing and annoyingly unrevealing post. You know, where the person uses some beatles song for the title and then in the actual post rights too words like "It's Over" or "Yes and No," then people comment trying to figure out what the drama queen means (see any of jojo's posts). But those are asking for attention.
I could do a post where I make fun of all the posts people make on livejournal. Hey, that sounds good! lets see... oh wait, Looks like I've already done that.....
Well thats all the types of posts I can think of. What other ones are there? Anyone?
Maybe I could not make any post at all! Is anyone really going to benefit from reading this? Well I guess I had fun writing it, but I've already enjoyed it, and its passes about an hour of my time so I'd say it was worthwhile. Maybe I really shouldn't post at all...
