Without You - Murasaki Photostory

I decided to try a short photostory for Murasaki a few weeks ago. Frankly, as much as I love photography I suck at it. I have no natural knack for it. I feel the pictures do no really expres the story well, could just be me. I'll blame it on lack of practice. But Kitty wanted me to post them anyway, so here it is.

Natsumi light the incense. If we sit quietly maybe he will come and warm us again. Silence prevails over the suite, only the soft rustling of silk disturbs its reign. Finally she smiles and waves the taller figure over.

It's cold outside. Much too cold to go outside and play in the gardens. Come, sit, have some tea with me, Ka'leth.

The memory seats itself, shimmering in its summer finery, unchanged by time or season.

Carefully she holds out the cup of hot, green tea to her companion, finally setting it to the tatami when he does not take it from her.

Her deep violet eyes fall to the floor, and the cups beside her. "Two cups. Two cups should make me feel less lonely. One cup for me. And one cup for you. Two cups."

"Sometimes I wonder if there should be two cups here." She lifts hers to her pale lips, listening as he answers her deep in her mind, so deep inside that only her soul can hear his gentle words.

"You always knew when I made two cups of tea, always know, always come when there is one for you and one for me."

"But I'm the only one tastes the summer's bounty in the winter's cold. I'm the only one who drinks. Summer's gone and it took you with it. There is only me and two cups of tea, isn't there?"

Her companion shimmers one last time, his words, spoken to her so long ago, again whisper through her soul, then as the last warmth of summer, fades from her suite.

Um... tada? I appologie for the terrible pictures. I really need to sit downt the camera's manual and figure out how to make it do what I want it to. For those who care, thanks for looking.
