A/N: for the xingdae halloween contest
Yixing swears it should't be this hard to find a halloween costume. But considering that he's here with Jongdae, he supposes it can. At this moment Jongdae is showing him a catwoman costume and Yixing is trying really hard not to facepalm.
"Hey Yixing" Jongdae says, "don't' you think i'll look really sexy in this"? Yixing really wants to hit Jongdae at that precise moment. He wonders how long it would take Jongdae to realize he left if he were to walk away.
"Jongdae" Yixing says, voice exasperated "can you just pick something so we can leave".
Yixing is pretty sure the cashier is giving them weird looks. They might just even kick them out with all the noise Jongdae is making. Honestly though, he kinda hopes that they do so he could have an excuse to be out of the store. He tells himself that he should never go out anywhere with Jongdae ever again.
"But what's the fun it that" Jongdae whines, putting the costume back in the rack and roams around the aisle in search for a better costume.
Yixing sometimes wonders why he puts up with his boyfriend.

After what felt like hours Jongdae had finally managed to pick out a costume. Yixing had never felt so relieved than what he felt at that precise moment. In the end Jongdae decided on an angel costume, because, and he quotes "is a total angel". Yixing really begs to differ. Jongdae is far from an angel. He's more like the spawn of the devil.
In the mist of trying so hard not to strangle Jongdae, he forgot that he needed a costume too. He will be dammed if he has to go back to the store with a hyper active Jongdae. No, he would just figure something out on his own.
When they arrive home Jongdae announces that he went ahead and bought Yixing a costume. Knowing Jongdae well, he should be prepared for the worst. In all honesty his boyfriend has the worst sense of humor in the world. Everyone always questions how they got together being as Jongdae is loud and sarcastic while he's more quiet and reserved. At times like these he question himself too.

They are heading towards the party their friend Joonmyun is having. It's a costume party where there would be a lot of alcohol and music, as well as the awkward situations that are bound to ensue. He seriously has some weird group of friends. Except for Joonmyun, he's somewhat sane.
"Well look who we have here" Chanyeol's loud voice could be heard, "if it isn't Jongdae and what the hell are you wearing Yixing?"
Everyone turned and stared at the couple who were walking in the door. Jongdae just smiled while Yixing felt so embarrassed. Seriously, what possessed him to go along with Jongdae's ridiculous of a costume pick?
After Yixing was asked more questions regarding his ridiculous costume the attention was then brought over to Jongdae once they actually noticed his costume.
"Why is Jongdae even an angel?" tao asked, "that should seriously never be allowed".
Jongdae let out a dramatic gasp along with an "I'm offended" while everyone just laughed at him.
Jongdae turned to look at Yixing with a pout gracing his lips. "Tell them I'm an angel. Tell them how amazing and nice I am" Jongdae whined while Yixing just laughed at him.
No, there was no way he was going to side with Jongdae. First because he would be lying and second because this is revenge on Jongdae for the ridiculous outfit he made him wear.
Everyone kept laughing while Jongdae kept whinning and trying to defend his angelic image.
