A busy, but accomplished morning.
Saw
whittles, then we both headed over to the BBQ of champions.
Tonight for dinner, I made Meggie
roasted brussels sprouts with shallots,
braised fennel with tomatoes & potatoes (though I forgot the fennel seeds at home, I improvised with some celery seeds & lemongrass & it turned out delish), &
lemon-herb roasted beets (both regular & golden, rosemary the herb of choice).
