Is that foccaccia bread with brie cheese? It looks amazzzzzzzzzzing! Also the only time I have ever had beans&toast for breakfast was during holiday in England, but I've always wanted to go back to it. Some people find it gross but obviously, they have never tried it.

Right now I'm in Germany, so a traditional meal consists of large quantities of potatoes, cheese, and mayonnaise mixed together. Oh, and butter. Lots of it. Also you should probably have a beer with that, just to round out the carb count. Most people make lunch the largest meal and so only have room for bread and cheese at dinner time, so my roommates tend to comment when I eat something warm for dinner!

Im a carb addict, anything with potato or pasta i'll eat.
That sounds amazing, feast galore.
Where abouts in germany are you? I really want to visit Berlin. Whats it like to live there, is it cheap? Hows the weather?
Sorry about all the questions, Germany has appealed to me for a long time.

Oh, I am too! Bread, potatoes, pasta.....mmmmm. I suppose it can be attributed to the fact that I rarely eat meat, so I need to get substance somewhere ( ... )

It sounds amazing that you are studying there, how is it going language wise? I want to study here, but the problem here is its in catalan and spanish.
Rent here is awfull in comparison to the wages, I hate it.

Language-wise, it's alright. Germans speak relatively slowly so they're usually easy to understand. Sometimes it's surprising how well you can function in a society without being totally fluent, but there are snags here and there. German is a little tricky because even though it's from the same language family as English, the vocabulary is not at all related so it's hard to guess a word's meaning. I think I'll actually take a class for foreigners on vocabulary-building....
Are most universities in Barcelona (assuming there's more than one?) conducted in Catalan or Spanish? Or both?

Hah, when I am poor, I live on beans and toast. It's glorious and very comforting!

And yes, that foccaccia bread with bris does look oh so good!
