I got my little finger sucked on by a tiny goat yesterday. It was a pretty awesome day.
4. Your favorite movie
Oh boy. For me, the movies and the books are different fandoms and somehow different universes. I would have to answer this question next month and I would reconsider my answer. Right now, and maybe because I've seen the movie last week, it would be GoF for the teenage angst that had me laughing and commiserating and for the very scary, the very creepy return of Voldemort that had my nephew climbing over me in the movie theater,
I loved the textures of the movie, as well as I did for PoA (except this LOL-worthy werewolf transformation scene). I regret that Fleur Delacour's character was wiped off. She had no personnality, no feistiness. You can understand during the movie why Krum was there, why Cedric was there, but Fleur? She was so bland, character-wise. Clémence Poésy is very pretty, though. I hope she'll get her shining moment in DH.
I didn't like much HBP. I like little parts of it, but I never felt it was a cohesive movie, and that bugged me. I loved when Harry followed Draco near the end, when you could see how good that movie could have been if this film noir tone had been set early on. Please, please make DH the best movies of the series?
5. Wizard Rock: discuss
IThe discussion will cut short. This is a part of the fandom I have not really explored. While I love music and listen to it often, I don't feel any attraction for it. However, I do like that books drive people to express themselves, whatever form it takes.
