Debriel_Mini Fic: Don't Ever Look Back [Notes & Thanks]
So, first of all, a huge, huge, huge thanks to l_niania for the amazing beta work, and for reading it so many times. If it weren't for you, then this entire fic would be in shambles and I would hate it. Also, thanks for the suggestions and support, and that link to the spoiler cut. Really, I love this spoiler cut thing.
Also thanks to theendermen even though your journal is deleted and you probably won't read this, I would like to thank you for the uber-fast beta work.
This is for debriel_mini, and I would also like to thank scyllaya and moonbeamdancer for hosting this challenge, being awesome mods and so helpful - especially because I deleted my first account during the challenge. Also for giving me a chance to describe Sam as 'short'.
And last but certainly not least, thanks to kymericl for the absolutely amazing art. Seriously. It is amazing and gorgeous and wonderful. Go check it out!
So this fic is a bit too rom-com to what I'm used to, but I like it. I had another one in mind, the first one, and it would be all epic-y and Romeo & Juliet with a touch of adventure, but it didn't work out. Probably because I hated Romeo and Juliet.
This is set in the Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix, but I got rid of Umbridge. It was mostly because I needed Crowley to further the plot, but also because I'm scared I'll completely butcher the amazingly well-written but horrible character of Dolores Jane Umbridge. She's pretty hard to write, and she didn't really have any purpose in my story.
In my mind, Crowley resigned at the end of the year to work on his 'side business' we see in part two.
Dean is only one year older than Harry, but I needed him to be two years older for the sake of this story. He's a chaser in the Gryffindor Quidditch team and was not a prefect because he caused too much trouble. Gabriel is a beater, and so was his older brother, Raphael.
Lucifer didn't agree with his dad's anti-muggle stance, and stormed out. He joined the Order of the Phoenix. It's basically the opposite of how it happened in the Bible.
Oh, and I don't own SPN or Harry Potter. I can only dream.
