Cue The Clash...

"Should I stay or should I go now?"

That's what I kept asking myself on Sunday afternoon when hanging out with LD and CH at their place in St. Helena. A place, btw that is going to be very cool when they get it fixed up...even if the setting does seem a bit bucolic for two people who strike me more as "city-folk". Anyway, I digress. So, after a short tour of the 2 bedroom, 1 bath home I was offered a drink  (gin and vitamin water...Lol! a first for me) which I gratefully accepted. Then we piled into their golf cart and took a ride around the vineyard and stopped at a pond where CH used to go for picnics as a child. Unfortunately, we had to push said golf cart back to the house as it was pretty much out of juice. S'ok, I needed the exercise anyway.

More drinks and a viewing of "Religulous". What a great movie! Bill Mahr was right on. The stuff about Mormons had me going, "oh yeah, that's exactly the way they are". More drinks and a little bit of smoking. There was another movie but the title escapes me now. What I do recall clearly is that I was sitting next to C who had L on his lap. My knees were drawn up to my chest and my fingers were hooked behind them on that big tendon that I kept massaging...it felt fabulous...so fabulous that I ended up having a little "O". Clearly, it was from the friction produced by my legs moving together and not that my tendons are so sensitive. I am not sure that L and C realized what happened. Pretty freaky dude. At some point after that, we were all rubbing hands. It was a very strange and interesting afternoon.

I ended up leaving but part of me wanted to stay. Maybe next time ;-)
