1. Marmite - love or hate?
Love.  We're a household that loves it.

2. Marmalade - thick cut or thin cut?
Marmalade never.  Loathe it.  Love jam though.

3. Porridge - made with milk or water?
milk.  Lovely.

4. Do you like salt, sugar or honey on your porridge?
Sugar.

5. Loose tea or teabags?
Tea is of the devil.  Never drunk it.  Just the smell makes me want to heave.

6. Where on your door is your letterbox?
Half way down.  Strange question.

7. What's your favourite curry?
Ah, my specialist area of expertise!  I love curry.  Homemade curry (particularly from Meera Sodha's Made In India book).   I really like curried chops from Mughal e Azam, and fish masala from most places on the Ladypool Road.   I like shashlik and korma and most curries really.

8. What age is the place where you live?
So I think this house was built in the early 1930s so how old does that make it?  85 years old?

9. Where do the folks running your local corner shop come from?
Er.  There are some nice guys in the shop up the road.  I think I've been in there twice in the 12? years I've lived here.

10. Instant or fresh coffee?
I don't do instant, darling.

11. How far are you from the sea?
Too fucking far.  It's one of the only bad things about living up here.   We're landlocked.   I love the sea.  It's one of the things I miss about living in Kent.

12. Have you travelled via Eurostar?
Yes!  To Brussells for a weekend to celebrate Michelle's 40th birthday.  Her 50th is in two years and we're going to ... Tokyo.

13. If you were going to travel abroad, where's the nearest country to you?
France.

14. If you're female (or possible even some males) do you carry a handbag?
Every day.   Rain or shine.  Love a handbag.

15. Do you have a garden? What do you like growing?
Yes. A huge lot of plants and trees and flowers and tomatoes.

16. Full cream, semi skimmed or skimmed?
Semi.

17. Which London terminal would you travel into if going to the capital?
If I were going every day for work it would be to Euston.  Then I get a tube to Victoria.  Then I get a bus to my office.

18. Is there a local greasy spoon where you live?
Probably one on Lode Lane I've never been to.   We like the German Cafe in Shirley for breakfast.

19. Do you keep Euros in the house?
Nope.  USD.  Always have some dollars.

20. Does your home town have a Latin, Gaelic or Welsh alternative name?
Er, no.

21. Do you have a well known local artist or author?
Um so not many famous people come from Solihull.  Stewart Lee went to school here.  I think maybe a member or two of Slade.

22. Do you have a favourite Corrie character?
No.  Not seen it since the 1980s but I always had a soft spot for Ken Barlow.

23. Are your kitchen sink taps separate or a mixer?
Mixer. Installed by James.

24. Do you have a favourite brand of blended tea?
No. Tea is of the devil.

25. What's in your attic if you have one?
A portrait of myself.
A load of boxes of stuff, luggage and christmas decorations.

26. If you go out for a cream tea, what jam do you like on your scone?
Strawberry, duh.

27. Talking of scones- scon or scown? Jam or cream first?
SCOWN.  Cream first.

Barth.

Carstle.

30. What flavour of crisps do you favour?
Ready salted.  But I'm currently mad on imported Pita Chips.

31. If you go to the chippie, what do you like with your chips?
Mini fish and chips please.   Salt, no vinegar.

32. Take away, take out or carry out?
Takeaway.

33. If you have one, what colour is your wheelie bin?
Three: Green: garden waste, black: refuse, brown: reycling.

34. What colour skips does your local skip hire use?
Surely they must be yellow?

35. Do you celebrate Guy Fawkes?
Um no.  Don't like fireworks.

36. Dettol or TCP?
Um, not sure I have a view.

37. Do you have a bidet in the bathroom?
No.

38. Do you prefer courgettes or aubergines?
Aubergines.  Love them.   REally not mad on courgettes.

39. In the 'real world' Do you have friends of other nationalities? Which nationalities?
There's only the real world.   And yes, of course.   All sorts of friends, all sorts of nationalities.

40. Do you have a holy book of any sort in the house?
I don't think so.

41. Do you prefer a hankie or tissues?
Tissues.

42. Are you a fan of crumpets? What do you like on them?
Yes and butter.

43. Doorbell, knocker or both?
Door bell.  It works most of the time.

44. Do you own a car? What sort?
Yes.  The 100 year old car.

45. What sort of pants do you guys prefer? Y fronts or boxers?
I'm a girl.   Matt wears cotton jersey boxers.

46. Anyone still a fan of suspenders?
Yes.

47. Do you have a favourite quote from the bard?
Not really.  I guess "And thus the native hue of resolution. Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought"  came to mind recently.

48. Do you like toasted muffins?
Hell yes.

49. Do you think a traditional trifle should contain jelly?
I'm not sure I believe in the concept of mandating trifle ingredients.

50. Do you attend regular religious worship? Of what kind?
Attending coffee shops regularly.  Taking the sacrament in a coffee cup.
