Flames 2006-07
What is there to say about this team? If this is a team that is supposed to be in the mode of Stanley Cup or bust, I sure as hell don’t know what the fuck that effort was.
If you want to compare this team to the one that went to the finals three years ago, please don’t even start. Since the lockout ended this is not a team that can win anything. If want proof look no further at the fact that the Flames have won a grand total of 30 of 88 games on the road (including playoffs) in the last two years; the team that went to the finals won 31 of 55 games on the road that year. I don’t think it’s too hard to see where the problem is. You’re welcome to come up with any other reason as to why the Flames lost again this year, but it was their road record that put them in that hole in the first place.
