When a single day lasts forever
You walk along in dreams.
Hands within each others’
And hearts towards the skies;
You travel the same direction,
Towards the bright new dawn,
An endless day before you
As memories pave the way.
You have no cause to worry
For there is nothing to fear;
Another shoulder to carry the load
And two more eyes to shed the tears.
But best of all you have two smiles
Ready to greet the day;
Smiles of joy and hope,
Of dreams and laughter:
And of a love to tell the world
Because today is your day.
